Exchange Zcash (ZEC) to Litecoin (LTC)

Swap ZEC for LTC on CryptoChicken without registration. Zcash operates on its own zk-SNARK-based blockchain with optional shielded transactions, while Litecoin runs on its independent Scrypt-based network derived from the Bitcoin codebase. Both chains settle quickly, which keeps the full exchange cycle short.

Send between 10 and 200 ZEC per order. Current LTC reserve: 50033.12 LTC, enough to cover the full range in a single transaction.

Network speed and fees

Zcash blocks confirm roughly every 75 seconds; we credit ZEC deposits after a few confirmations. Litecoin produces a block every 2.5 minutes, and network fees stay near 0.0001–0.001 LTC per transfer regardless of load.

Transparent vs. shielded ZEC

We accept transparent (t-addr) Zcash deposits. Shielded (z-addr) sends are not supported for incoming funds. Outgoing LTC is dispatched to any standard Litecoin address — Legacy (L...), P2SH (M...), or native SegWit (ltc1...).
