Exchange USD Coin (ERC20) to Dai (DAI)

Swap USDC on the Ethereum network for DAI without holding both assets in a personal wallet. Both tokens are ERC-20 stablecoins pegged to the US dollar, but they differ in mechanics: USDC is backed by fiat reserves held by Circle, while DAI is a decentralized stablecoin issued by MakerDAO against on-chain collateral. CryptoChicken processes the swap from USDC ERC20 directly to DAI on Ethereum.

Minimum order is 10,000 USDC, maximum is 50,000 USDC. Current DAI reserve is 2,978,788 DAI, sufficient for full-size orders.

Network and fees

Both tokens move on Ethereum mainnet. You pay one ETH gas fee for the incoming USDC transfer; the outgoing DAI transaction fee is covered by the exchange and included in the displayed rate.

Processing time

After your USDC deposit receives the required ERC-20 confirmations, DAI is sent out automatically. Typical completion time is 10–20 minutes depending on Ethereum congestion.
